This local history group considers a particular time period in local history, or arrange study around particular local historical themes, such as education, transport or crime. Typically, members of the group research topics which interest them and then make short presentations to their group. In addition to these indoor activities, groups also often make visits to local sites of historical interest, particularly during the summer months.
Local History 4, would welcome new members.
Our activities include researching and discussing interesting topics that we agree at our annual planning meeting. We try to get out on visits in the summer.
Meetings are held in each other's houses on the first Tuesday of the month from 2.00 to 4.00 approximately.
